Insert Ink Cartridges
Install the ink cartridges one by one by removing the yellow tape and inserting it inside the cartridges slot individually until it clicks. You will see a “Waterdrop” like a symbol, press it to start the ink priming. Make sure not to turn off the printer during the priming process, as it may cause ink wastage.
Load Printing Paper
Now it’s time to load paper within the printer. For that, just pull up the paper support extensions and output tray extensions.
Move the edge guide towards the left sideloads of the printer paper and keep the printable side of the paper upwards.
The paper should be kept against the right edge of the sheet feeder and just at the back of the tab. Press the left edge guide against the paper’s left edge. Keep in mind that the paper should not be inserted tightly.
Software Installation

Insert the CD of Epson Artisan 1430 first and then click on Run Setup.exe once you see the AutoPlay window.

Wireless Connection
Now the installer will ask you to connect the printer with your computer using a USB cable and after a succesful connection, it will ask you to remove the cable.
The USB cable is not included in the printer package and needs to be administered by the user himself.
